CD Recordings 2019
On January 15th Naxos officially released the WERGO-CD "CLAIR-OBSCUR. THE COLORS OF SAXOPHONES" with the Saxopohone Quartet CLAIR OBSCUR and with best reviews. And immediately it continues with new CD recordings: The CD BERNARDUS recorded in Gdansk/Poland, WERGO-CD „MOZART & BEETHOVEN MEETING YIN & YANG“ in March with Jena Philharmonics and in April in Siberia Part I of "KRASNOYARSK COUNTERPOINTS" -
Enjott's new CD-Recording in Krasnoyarsk/Siberia
ORCHESTRAL AFFAIRS IN SUMMER 2018: My second CD-recording with the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra (cond.: Vladimir Lande) in Krasnoyarsk: together with the saxophone quartet CLAIR OBSCUR from Berlin we enjoyed highlights in the philharmonic concert...but also highlights with impressive excursions in the monumental siberian landscape: at the border of River Jenissei with its 4000 km, or in the mountains visiting the Rock Pillars...one oft the most spirituel locations in Siberia. -
Lots of concerts... and being Member of Jury
Not only "world premieres" are important for composers life, - but also the repeating of performances to bring the compositions into the common repertoire. And not to forget: working as Jury member in competitions is a very responsible work, leading young artists to their future! -
News Fall 2016 until Spring 2017
"Creativity as a whirlwind, news from end 2016 to spring 2017". So many concerts and world premieres, encounters with people and (natural) musicians, composition of new works, projects, ideas. -
...via music connected with friends all over the world
MAKING MUSIC IN THE 7x24 MODE... with all the consequences: composing, being in charge of editions (horrible job of "proofreading"), world premieres, repeated performances, travels and living at the airport ( Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, Gdansk, Cologne, Taipei, Beijing), rehearsals and conducting, CD productions... luckily all of the above is combined with friendship and wonderfully inspiring encounters... being a musician could be a dream job, if there weren't the increasing exploitation of the data giants and the "all-for-free" mentality of the music users. Therefore, I'm putting so much time into cultural policy (Berlin-Brussels-current amendment of the legal systems) as President of the German Composers Association, in order to fight for a touch of a livable future for my colleagues...
