Kreatives Leben mit vielen Facetten: composer in residence bei "Beijing Modern Musikfestival" und beim "Schwarzwald-Musikfestival", viele CD-Neuerscheinungen, bewegende Konzerte vom Gallus-Oratorium Kathedrale St. Gallen zur von mir dirigierten Uraufführung (Percissionsfassung) von ORBE ROTUNDO zusammen mit CARMINA BURANA, seit März Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der GEMA. -
KOMPONIEREN ZU ÖKOLOGISCH-POLITISCHEN THEMEN
Musik darf nicht nur L'ART POUR L'ART sein, sondern sollte sich - wenigsten in meiner ethischen Ausrichtung - den Themen wie Ökologie, Naturerhalt und Wahrung der Schöpfung stellen. Dahinter steht ein im Grundsatz humanistisches Weltbild, das sich an Friede und Achtung aller Mitmenschen orientiert, und (mir) Grundausrichtung eines zutiefst kreativen Schaffens ist.

8 PM (CET), 'Herkules-Hall' Munich Residence World Premiere of ORBE ROTUNDO for soprano, tenor, baritone, choir and orchestra with the Munich Motet Choir conducted by Hayko Siemens. This work is based on latin and middle age lyrics (from the collection "Carmina Burana"). It is my main composition for 2010 and I may regard it as the "summa" of a 60years-life! It will be performed together with Carl Orff's CARMINA BURANA in the same orchestration. -
