The orchestral suite was inspired by Ian Fleming's novel and its film adaptation "James Bond and Dr. No", but is an independent composition that is not a direct description of the novel, but only associatively illuminates the thematic circles "Jamaica", "Manhunt", "Suspense & Crime", "Happy End" in the colours of a virtuously played string orchestra.
