HERBSTMILCH / AUTUMN MILK is a film music for Joseph Vilsmaiers cinema production in 1988, - telling the life of the poor farmers woman Anna Wimschschneider. Her novel was a million bestseller in the eighties. Beside the original soundtrack im composed several musical metamorphosis such as this orchestral suite HERBSTMILCH for orchestra classical programs. Recorded by Alondra de la Para conducting the Tonkünstler-Orchester Austria on CD EARTHBOUND (Label Wergo) in 2015; also recorded by Bavarian Broadcast BR in 2009 by Ulf Schirmer, conducting Münchner Rundfunkorchester.

Introduction: AUTUMN MILK - the orchestral suite, was assembled and arranged in 2009, with close reference to the original score of 1988. After the introduction, the landscape theme 'In the river of time. The 'Anne Theme''', is heard, then followed by a dramatic scene 'Casualty at the plough' and finally 'Death of the Mother'. The dream and yearning motifs connected all the movements in a ritornello style.
