The coronavirus, which is rampant worldwide and has generated an irrational fear that has paralysed public life, culture and human interaction in ways previously thought unimaginable, comes close to such apocalypticism. No one knows how long the scourge of this fear will hold humanity captive and when unbiased communication, contact and friendly embrace will be possible again.
The work can be performed together in concert or with separated movements in liturgical use: the TOCCATA with the leitmotif of the Gregorian "Dies Irae" as music for the entrance or exit, the VISION as meditative music for communion.

Introduction: While the "apocalypse" is a biblical version (Gospel of John) of the end of the world, moreover, "apocalyptic" refers to an end-time mood or doomsday prophecy. The coronavirus, which is rampant worldwide from the Himalayas of Asia to the rainforests of South America and has generated an irrational fear that has paralysed public life, culture and human interaction in ways previously thought unimaginable, comes close to such apocalypticism.
