A sensitive SAT1 film about the love of a pupil (Kostja Ullmann) for an older woman (Marie Bäumer)...completely without kitsch and pink clouds. Passion almost anatomically dissected. - Joe, high school graduate from a wealthy home, promising pianist meets the fun-loving Rosemarie on a holiday in Mallorca with her parents. Falls in love instantly, like a phantom, - but is too shy. In Berlin he finds her, gets close to her, wants to experience "the first time" with her. Exciting and very psychologically true. Absolutely convincing direction by Franziska Buch far from any slush. Great cinema. - The film music refers to a Bach Prelude in B minor, which the aspiring pianist plays in the film.
