With Peter Weck as professor emeritus of psychology, who is supposed to get his driver's license as a retiree therapy...and falls in love with the driving instructor. At the same time his wife stages Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream"... how love is branded as dazzling and folly. Amusing educational comedy directed by Dagmar Knöpfel. - The music refers to the music of Felix Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" several times. The last film production of the legendary film producer Franz Seitz ("Tin Drum" and others) before he died.
