Introduction: Prologue:
The trolls of Scandinavia inhabit almost invisible forests, streams and lakes. They escape our imagination. In reality they live cheerfully and with mysterious activities in the land of fantasy. The Swedish Finnish author Tove Jansson (1914-2001) had been dealing with trolls and elves in many tales and drawings since 1945 and created an immortal monument for this imaginary world - not only for children. The four characters are dedicated to her memory.
