For this reason the composition is held in a simple language for the use in daily services in church. - Zepernick ist a little town situated in Panketal in Brandenburg, near Berlin. The first traces of the building lead back to 1240 when this church (dedicated to Saint Anne, the grandmother of Jesus Christ) was built by the first inhabitants of Zepernick.
Zepernick is with its festival "Randspiele" closely related with the performances of contemporary music in Berlin.
