KYRIE FOR CHOIR AND TWO BASSET HORNSwas a composition assignment for a concert as well as a CD-recording by the Munich Bach Choir, conducted by Hansjörg Albrecht on the 16.3.2010 in the Munich Philharmonic Hall.  

RORATE COELI DESUPER (after the Latin Responsorium) for 2 high voices and organ was composed for Munich Cathadral Music Advent concert on the 6.12.2009. Sheet music by Schott Music.  

KYRIE SINE NOMINE  for choir and cello (or trombone/bassoon) was composed in 2009 for the Munich music academy choir, conducted by Christoph Adt and performed in the St. Bonifaz Basilika in Munich. 

 

IN UNA VIA (Text: Hildegard von Bingen) for choir and orchestra was composed for the Munich music academy choir, conducted by Christoph Adt and performed in the St. Bonifaz Basilika in Munich. 

 

KYRIE AND GLORIA for choir and whale sounds (sound effects) was composed for the CANTIONALE 1994 displays an easy singableness and resonance it's popularity with the audience. Appears in the TOTENTANZ CD with the Regensburg Chamber Choir.  

 

DA PACEM (Grant us peace) for choir and instruments (1989), sheet music by Strube publishers Munich, was effectively written for laymen and requires 16 choral singers, oboe, vibraphone (also piano), synthesizer (also harpsichord) and organ. The work has been performed many times with great response. Appears on TOTENTANZ CD with the Regensburg Chamber Choir.  

 

IT IS LATER THAN YOU THINK . Twelve time studies based on grave inscriptions for choir, organ and percussion (Synthesizer ad libitum), 1987; note material by the author.  The techniques of minimalisticm, periodic and processual music are exhibited in 12 twelve short versions and lead to all possible forms of musical arrangements forming an understandabke for a layman's chorus.  The percussion can be played by laymen. IN PRINCIPIO ERAT VERBUM. Motot after Johannes I, Verse 1-14 for choir (male voices) and instruments, 1986. Sheet music material with the author. The Latin texts in archaic tone language (between medieval, organa and minimal music) are opposite the German texts, and are kept in subjective-gestural expression. The piece was written for the vocal ensamber Singphoniker but can be adapted for other choirs. Is on the "Sacred music for deep voices" CD with the Singphoniker and instruments and also on the IN-HIOB-CRUCIFIXUS CD. There is also a version for vocal ensamble (5 voices) and solo organ in existence.
