4. October Frauenkirche Dresden 8 pm as part of the „Frauenkirchen Bachtage“. World première of CONCERTO B-A-C-H, that was composed for Albrecht Mayer (Solo-Oboist of the Berliner Philharmoniker), - accompanied by Gabriel Schwabe (Violoncello) and Vital Julian Frey (Cembalo)

 

11. October Cathedral Bressanone (Italy) world première of HÖCHSTES HEILES WUNDER: HOMMAGE AN RICHARD WAGNER for string orchestra and recorded sound, String Academy Bolzano, Dir.: Hansjörg Albrecht

 

3.10. until 1.11. in the concert hall of the Musikverein in Vienna and the auditorium of Schloß Grafenegg CD recording of 4 orchestral works for WERGO with the TONKÜNSTLER-ORCHESTER ÖSTERREICH, Dir.: Xiancao Li (chief conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra). This CD is the first in a series of 10 recordings of my orchestral works and symphonies with WERGO. CD 1 includes: „Florestan und Eusebius. Schumann-Gedanken“, „At The Edge Of Time“. Reflections on Mozarts Requiem d-minor, „Ein Feste Burg“. Symphonic poem „Ein Ewig Rätsel will ich bleiben“ (Wagner and Ludwig II) for cor anglais and orchestra
